This past weekend, one of our firm's fine young landscape architects passed away. She was a 31-year-old landscape architect in the Denver office. She loved the outdoors. Her quote on the firms intranet page describes her passion for skiing and hiking.
She became ill a couple of weeks ago and went into the hospital a week ago Thursday. As far as we know, her doctors still do not have a explanation for why her liver failed. She received a liver transplant over weekend. While that was successful, the complications from her illness were too much to overcome.
The point of this blog is to encourage everyone to become a registered donor.
