Leaving a trace

Almost every form of animal life has a migratory pattern. In many cases, animals leave their trace from a herd of deer sleeping in a grass pasture to the ripple in the water when a trout is feeding off the surface. This study is an abstraction of a snakes pattern from sunbathing on the limestone surface to leaving the site. The idea of "once there but now gone" maps a moment in natural time of a system built around the sun and its heat.
