Reflecting Color

As part of my current project, I am studying the reflectivity of color on water. I am finding that bright, bold colors reflect well in water while softer colors generally do hold. In this study, I used orange flag surveying stakes. The orange against the darker blue water creates a contrast found in the natural landscape (sunset over water; Utah desert over blue skies).
